It’s difficult to spend time practicing English. Sometimes I make the mistake of using English language skills only when I attend English classes. I know that it’s bad and if I really want to learn this language, I must practice it without caring to how much time I have to spend out of class. It’s my responsibility.
Nevertheless, teachers have the same degree of responsibility because they ought to give us tools and advices about how to learn a better English language. For this reason, they should give dynamic classes and to b more creative because experience learning is more efficient than passive learning. In some cases, people don’t want to learn English because they have had a bad experience caused by their teachers and it’s sad to see that.
On the other hand, the program course must be more active. For example, I think that the final test should include an oral test. This is an important part that can’t be omitted because the learning has to be comprehensive.
Finally, I think that a good English learning depends of the inner motivation that each one has. If you want to learn it to earn more money, it could be hard to learn because this pressure could deflect your goal.
I agree with you, we can not expect to learn English just if we use it in clases, students have to try to practice everywhere.
